For security, email changes go through our support team. This prevents an attacker who briefly accesses your account from locking you out. The process usually takes one business day.

Request an email change

  1. From your current account email, send a message to support@livingchat.ai.
  2. Use the subject line: "Email change request".
  3. Include the new email address you would like on the account.

Verification

We will reply from support@livingchat.ai with a verification link sent to the new email address. Click the link to confirm ownership. Once confirmed, we update your account and send a final confirmation to both addresses.

If you signed up with Google or GitHub

Your account email is tied to your Google or GitHub identity. To change it:

  1. Update the primary email on your Google or GitHub account first.
  2. Sign out of LivingChat and sign back in. Your account will pick up the new address automatically on the next sign-in.

If you no longer have access to the old email

We can still help, but the verification takes longer (3–5 business days). Email support@livingchat.ai with the last 4 digits of the card on your subscription, the approximate date you signed up, and any other information that proves account ownership. We will work with you to recover access.
