Once we approve a refund, we send the request to your payment provider immediately. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer — we do not control that timing.
Typical refund timelines
- Credit card or debit card: 5–10 business days, though many issuers post it within 3.
Why a refund might appear "missing"
- Some banks post refunds against the original charge instead of as a new line item — check the original charge date for an adjustment.
- If your card was replaced after the original charge, the refund still goes to the same account; the bank handles it internally.
- International cards may take a few extra business days due to currency conversion.
If 10 business days have passed
Email billing@livingchat.ai with the original charge date and the last 4 digits of the card. We will send you the refund transaction ID (called an ARN or acquirer reference number) so your bank can locate it.
