We take unauthorized charges very seriously. Most reports turn out to be legitimate subscriptions started by a family member, a previous trial that converted, or a charge under a different billing descriptor. Below is how to figure out what happened and how we will resolve it.

How LivingChat charges appear on your statement

  • Card statements show LIVINGCHAT, LIVINGCHAT.AI, or LIVINGMEDIA*LC.
  • The charge will be either $1.00 (trial), $29.99 (monthly), or $49.99 (quarterly).

Quick checks before contacting us

  1. Check whether anyone in your household started a trial or subscription.
  2. Search your email for "LivingChat" or "LivingMedia". We send a receipt for every charge.
  3. Sign in at livingchat.ai with the email you think was used. If a subscription exists, you will see it in Settings → Subscription.

Report the charge to us

Email billing@livingchat.ai with:

  • The exact charge amount and date
  • The last 4 digits of the card
  • The billing descriptor as it appears on your statement

We will identify the account, cancel any active subscription, and (where the charge is genuinely unauthorized) issue a full refund. You will receive confirmation within one business day.

Please don't dispute the charge first

If you initiate a chargeback before contacting us, the bank's dispute process can take 30–90 days, and we may have to suspend the associated account during the investigation. Reaching out directly is almost always faster.
